Our "Luck for the New Year" shop display was inspired by beautiful Lucky Bamboo, set in our natural earth stones, harvest from the Oregon Coast line. 

Why we call it "Lucky Bamboo":
Bamboo is the perfect plant for an indoor garden. It requires little light and soil, and can be placed on any table or shelf. Many Asian cultures believe bamboo to be lucky and that it brings wealth and good fortune. The plant is often given at the New Year season or at times of celebration.

Other Bamboo Facts:

• Botanical name - Dracaena

• Prefers the indoor environment and doesn't do well in direct sunlight

• Higher water can cause excessive root growth

• Thrives in temperatures over 60 degrees
