Massage Tip: Cuts on Hands & Fingers

For massage therapists who work with their hands not only at work, but at home! - here's a quick tip on how to deal with small cuts on your hands or fingers to keep you working without pain or causing concern to your patients.

If you have a small cut 1/2 inch or smaller, clean the wound and (if needed) use a band aide to stop the bleeding.

Once bleeding has stopped and the skin is clean, use New Skin (liquid band aide) to seal the skin!

This was great help to me this weekend - I cut my finger making garden salsa and had 3 massage the next day! - I purchased New Skin and applied once that evening and once the next morning. My finger was clean and soft by my first massage.
